🔍  About

🎶 With Biding Your Time, Dutch lofi heavyweights Louk and Glimlip strip things back to something deceptively simple. A cool, double-octave piano line runs through the track like a steady heartbeat, giving it a hypnotic, unhurried flow. Over that, a delicate melody drifts in and out subtle, but sticky enough to hum hours later.

It’s one of those pieces that works in the background but rewards close listening: the imperfections of the keys, the air between the notes, the warmth that seeps through every sound. The single’s artwork, created by Tbilisi-based illustrator Nika Elia, mirrors that understated magic, capturing Dream Theory’s analog warmth and attention to detail in rich, hand-crafted textures.

➡️ Coming Up

Dream Theory, the new collaboration between Dutch lofi heavyweights Louk and Glimlip, invites listeners into a world built on analog warmth, raw musicality, and cinematic detail. Their upcoming EP Wake Me Up blends lofi, jazz, and ambient textures into an immersive listening experience. One that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

The rollout began with Bringing Home The Bronze, a rich, atmospheric track that captivates from the first note. Its mysterious cadence, warm synth textures, and Louk’s distinctive flute and saxophone lines weave through Glimlip’s beat with effortless chemistry. The artwork, created by Tbilisi-based illustrator Nika Elia, captures the depth and texture of Dream Theory’s sound in intricate, hand-crafted detail.
